TamekaSince my mom always taught me that it is better to give than receive and because it is the season of giving, I want to ask everyone who reads my blog to please donate to The Arc of San Antonio. The most important thing that The Arc needs is money.  The Arc of San Antonio receives 50% of their funding comes from program fees.  They have to fundraise for the rest of the money.  Each year, The Arc provides services to over 6,000 individuals with disabilities, family members and caregivers through free case management services and direct care programs.  Read More →

Also, I am the editor and writer of “The Arc Times” monthly newsletter that is sent out to the parents / guardians of the Arc participants. I use a communication device and I have Cerebral Palsy.  Cerebral Palsy is a ailment that affects body movement, posture, and speech.
