Special Needs Trust

Participants will learn about Special Needs trusts including how beneficiaries can maintain money or property and avoid losing essential long term benefits. The Arc of Texas Master Pooled Trust will be discussed as an option.

This presentation includes information and support to aid in a successful health care transition for young self-advocates: web-based resources/workbooks, public and private health insurance, health insurance risk pool, Texas insurance law, resources, Medicaid Buy-In, and more. Come prepared to begin working on your own health care transition plan for yourself or a loved one.
